Junior Golf

Our Junior Golf programs are aimed at youths in the 6-13 age range who are interested in playing golf. Designed for both the novice golfer and those already familiar with the game, we feature both introductory and advanced programs. In addition to the more tangible aspects of the game, we place a strong emphasis on fun and sportsmanship. Clubs are available for those without their own equipment. With Watson Tidd as Junior Golf Director, and several able assistants, there is student-teacher ratio of about 5-1. Watson is a member of CGTF (Canadian Golf Teacher's Federation). More intensive than the Beginner Program, our Junior Golf School is a one week program aimed at young golfers who want to improve their game. Like the Junior Golf Beginner program, topics covered include swing, pitching, putting, chipping, dealing with sand traps, rules of the game, golf etiquette, and more. Featuring 3 hours of lessons daily and course play with the instructors, Junior Golf School is more in depth than the Junior Golf Beginner Program. There is more one one-on-one instruction and more opportunity for hands-on practice and play. Prior golf experience is recommended either through play or through our Junior Golf Beginner Program.
